Dalby Hang gliding Long weekend 30th September 1st and 2nd October 2017
We are planing a Hang gliding air-tow weekend for the Queens Birthday long weekend Dates are Saturday 30th September to the Monday the 2nd October, This is the weekend before the Canungra Classic.
The aim will be to get some good airtime getting flying fit for the Canungra Classic we will plan competition task so we will refresh entering tasks into instruments also trying to do some PB weather it be straight line,triangle or out and return.
This is a good time to practice you air towing for the upcoming summer season, with the dry season we have at the moment we will be trying to push the limits to see what we can do.
Just need a show of hands to let Bruce know who is coming.
As usual weather dependant;
Current conditions look like its going to be a downwind run Saturday with a good SSW helping us along.
Sunday and Monday could be good for triangles.
Its looking good for some much needed airtime and good practice for the Canungra-Classic Hang Gilding competition starting the following weekend.
Anyone that is Oxygen endorsed could be a good weekend to bring your kit along also with Dalby over the last few weeks regularly over 12000+ feet base and with airspace lifting from 8500 feet around Warra.
