Pilot rescue first aid and first responder training
We have a fabulous opportunity to offer all CHGC members. Canungra Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club are hosting a pilot rescue first aid and first responder training with Chief Flying Instructors in conjunction with Queensland Ambulance Service / Emergency Services Professionals, for mutual benefits.
This training will be ground based and will involve scenarios with both hang gliders and paragliders. The training objective is to familiarise Queensland Ambulance Officers and pilots alike with possible pilot accident scenarios, pilot equipment and how to best help as a first responder while complementing Ambulance Services Standard Operating Procedures. In the event of a real emergency/accident, training can prepare all team members to be more effective to help produce the best possible outcome.
